On April 17, 2025, the Community Collaboration for Children Regional Network closed out the fiscal year with attendees wearing blue and displaying pinwheels in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The mission of the Regional Network is building awareness and educating communities regarding child abuse and neglect. Additional goals include collaborating within communities, strengthening and supporting families, building parent leadership, and promoting responsible fatherhood.
During this fiscal year, the network has sponsored various activities such as Grandparents R.O.C.K., the 15th annual Child Abuse Prevention Conference, Blue Sunday Bags and Cake Kits. These projects along with other initiatives through the network and its members were conducted with focus on educating our communities, supporting child abuse prevention efforts, building parenting leaders and supporting families in the Lake Cumberland Region.
The Regional Network is comprised of community partners from family and child-serving agencies as well as parents and other local citizens. If you are interested in being a member of the network or would like to partner with the CCC on future initiatives, please contact our offices at 270-343-4600.
